CENCAL is a training entity since 1998 accredited by Instituto para a Inovação na Formação, Inofor (Institute for Training Innovation, Inofor) – process nº 1100, on the following intervention domains:

• Planning;
• Conception;
• Organisation and promotion;
• Development / execution;

Through the Research Centre CRC – Centro de Recursos do Conhecimento, CENCAL was accredited by the Direcção-Geral da Administração Educativa (General Department of Educational Administration) as a training entity for the Preparation Course of school library services (Register nº DGAE/03-2682/01).

CENCAL is also a member since 1999 of CENoE (Ceramic Educational Network of Europe), developed under the EU Programme Comenius-SÓCRATES.
